New Toy - DJI NEO

In anticipation of my full recovery — and a few upcoming road trips to both old and new destinations — I went ahead and picked up a DJI NEO the other day. I finally had a chance to take it out for a short spin during one of my regular walks around the Howison Homestead, a place I’ve written about often and return to frequently with a camera in hand.

For now, this was just a quick test to get familiar with how the camera handles movement, framing, and basic controls while walking the trails. I’m looking forward to getting back on the bike soon so I can really run it through its paces on the trail.

A follow-up post shows how the NEO performed once I started taking it onto the trail.
