Overnight rain meant no sleep. Judging by how dry the trails were the day before we figured thy would be good today. They were great!

Other than random puddles it was tacky goodness, slippery roots and icy rocks. Today’s ride was purely social, so we pause plenty. Absolutely love this place. Ray’s revenge is easily one of my favorite trails, and Hydra, which we rode twice, is phenomenal.

I Was going to stay another night but opted to leave early because of the incoming storm. In retrospect I could have probably stayed, but my friends reported a pretty intense rain coming through that night. I really dind;t want to pack a wet tent the next day…

I was glad I left though, judging by the storm I encountered on the way home. The first half of the drive home was intense.
