Seneca Ridge Trail, and many more rides like it, is documented in:

Seneca Ridge Trail

The Seneca Ridge Trail (SRT) is one of the regions new additions to the vast catalog of off-road riding destinations. This trail is pretty special, and already has become a showpiece for the Maryland Department of Natural Resources. The 7-mile ribbon presented in Mountain Biking The Washington D.C./Baltimore Area (5th) and Best Rides Washington D.C. connects Schaeffer’s white loop with the Seneca Creek Park System, giving you the chance to ride nearly 20 miles of just single track.

The Seneca Ridge Trail was cut by mountain bikers from the Mid Atlantic Off-Road Enthusiasts (MORE) to provide connectivity to other Montgomery County off road trails. Wit the addition of the Seneca Ridge Trail and the Seneca Bluffs Trail, MORE was able to piece together an Epic ride that is celebrated by one of the region’s most popular events, the MoCo Epic.
